Best Gifts for Men

Best Gifts for Men – Under $25

We know teens and young adult children are often broke, so here are the budget gift ideas. Parents and grandparents mostly want to know you thought of them and took the time to select something with them in mind. Avoid gift cards and things that scream “drug store purchase at 10pm on Christmas Eve!”

A game, puzzle, or any project that can be done together is a fun idea. There are also many self-care, clothing, and other as well as other thoughtful items which make great gifts even at a budget price.

The smallest gift given with love and compassion is priceless.

Best Gifts for Men – Hobbies and Interests

Lean into the interests and hobbies of your parents and grandparents rather than any limitations. Do they like gardening, fishing, reading, crafting? Something new related to their interests they may not have seen or would not buy for themselves is a particularly good gift idea.

Best Gifts for Men – Car Stuff

Most guys love their cars. Here are a few helpful, decorative, or cool things for them to keep their cars up to snuff!

It’s not the size of the gift that matters, it’s the heart that went into it.

Best Gifts for Men: Things They Already Have, but NEWer

Your parents and grandparents have a LOT of things and often they will say they don’t want anything. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. They want to be remembered just like you do. One comment I always hear at bridal showers is, “Why don’t they have showers for us? All of our things are worn out. New towels, bakeware, dishes, etc. would be so nice.”

Gifts for Men – Practical and Accessibility Gifts

Stay away from accessibility gifts unless they have asked for them. If you really know they need them and would not be insulted, you can go there. Or if you have a truly unique or new idea. Sometimes as our men age, these “gifts” help us help them. One example is Apple AirTags. You can give them and then help install them on various items like their phone or wallet, the tv remote, and other items they (and honestly, all of us,) constantly misplace.

I have arthritis in my hands and I love a stocking stuffer I received one year which helps me open all kinds of bottles and jars. It does not scream “old people device.” It is handy for anyone because sometimes the machines that close jars and bottles put them on really, really tight. The jar opener below is similar to the one I have. I like it because it is easy to use, opens bottles as well as jars, and it does not need batteries.

We have a relative who loves his large Digital Calendar Alarm Clock. It is great for low vision and those with memory loss.

If my family is reading, I think I need the Microwavable Heating Mittens. My hands are always cold in the winter and they often ache.

Another idea would be to send a Sugarwish full of treats that you can pick out or the recipient can choose themselves: cookies, candies, snacks, popcorn, and more!

Everyone can experience the joy and blessing of generosity; because everyone has something to give.
