Easter Fun!

Laura’s Favorite Books

I love to read and keep at least 2 books going at all times – one to read and one I listen to on Audible. I like both fiction and non-fiction. I am a rare Enneagram 5, so I love learning about history and other things. Here are some of my favorite reads and listens.

Mel’s Favorite Books for 2025

I also am an avid reader! My commute to work is about 45 minutes each way. So, I listen way more than I am able to sit down with an actual book. I do usually have one going though. These are my absolute favorites from last year.

Amazon Faves for Empty Nesters

Around the House

I (Laura) love, love, love this Hammered Stainless-Steel Beverage Tub. I have seen others with a far pricier version of this beverage tub. I found mine on Amazon. I now have 3 of them. I use them as ice buckets and as beverage tubs. Be sure to grab this metal ice scooper to go with it. It is the perfect size and weight for scooping ice.

Hobbies anyone?

I (Laura) love reading and listening to books in my empty nest. You can get a FREE trial Audible Membership to try it out. And, similar to that, but a bit different, I (Mel) love my Kindle Unlimited membership!

For the Guys

It is always a challenge to find the right things for the guys. They often take care of things themselves, so it can be a nerve wracking job to shop for them when you have to do so.

Amazon Faves for Skincare and Pampering

I (Laura) love the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Melting Balm. It takes my makeup off so easily. I used to use the Clinique version, but I like the Neutrogena better. Another product I love is the Moroccanoil Leave in Conditioner. It smells amazing, which makes using it even more wonderful.

Our faves for skincare and pampering are focused on the products we need to keep our skin and bodies hydrated and healthy.
