After Prom Breakfast Ideas
Prom night – it starts with pictures, then the kids go off to dinner and the dance. The dance ends long before they want the fun to end. As parents we want their fun to be safe, so my husband and I hosted an after prom breakfast for both of our sons.
The breakfast does not happen immediately after prom. Our sons’ groups went bowling and to Dave and Buster’s right after prom and then came to our house for several hours of food and laughter.

After Prom Breakfast Ideas
My husband knows how to make exactly one thing completely from scratch – waffles – and they are the lightest, fluffiest and tastiest waffles ever. He loves to host waffle bars for our family. Both boys absolutely wanted Dad’s waffle and a waffle bar to welcome their friends after a night of pictures, dancing, bowling, and game playing.

After Prom Breakfast Ideas: Cooking the Bacon
We cook bacon for a crowd in the oven. Set the oven to 400 degrees. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out the bacon in strips on the paper. Cook for 20-30 minutes until it is your desired level of doneness. This is SO easy and the clean-up is a snap. Throw out the parchment paper. You will have some grease on your baking sheets, but nothing baked on.
You can keep the bacon warm in the oven after cooking it.
A new addition to our waffle bar is a Roll Up Warming Mat. You can set the bacon or the waffles or both on it!
