Gather these supplies to create your Best Spring Finals Care Package.
Encourage your student with sunny yellow, gold, and orange items.
Target, Walmart, and Amazon are great sources for Yellow items. You can search by color for almost anything you want.
Here are some ideas:
Supply List:
Summer Brights 12″x12″ Paper – I used paper I have in my collection, which were some patterned yellow and orange 12″ x 12″ sheets. If you use a box larger than a USPS Medium Flat Rate Box, you will need some sort of backing to cover the flaps. I linked to some you could use.
Snacks – It helps if your student likes lemon flavoring. You can search “lemon” to find the snacks your store carries. I also found some yellow sour patch kids. Macaroni and Cheese cups are also yellow!
Yellow Striped Beach towel – Let them know that Sun-Believable Times are Ahead.
Citrus Blossom Hempz Lotion, Yellow Nail Polish or Burt’s Bees Lip Balm
Something Blue – Just like a wedding, this care package needs something blue. I chose a beach ball and folded it to show the blue panel.
Emoji Stress Balls are also fun.
Sunscreen – So many brands of sunscreen are yellow or golden. Any brand will work, but I chose this Supergoop!
Yellow drink ware – One choice is a Daybreak Yellow Yeti Tumbler or this adorable Sunshine Mug.
Milky Way Bar – You have to include the Sun’s favorite candy bar.
Gold Hair Clip – Time to put your hair up and go outside!
Gold or Yellow Flip Flops – Everyone needs some new pool shoes for the summer.
USPS Medium or Large Flat Rate Box – available free at the post office. You can cut the printables to any size you need.
Best Spring Finals Care Package: Items for boys
Many of the items above are girlie. I have 2 boys and a girl and yes, it is easier to fill a care package for a girl. She is the only one of the 3 still in school, so my sample packages are prepared for her now. But I have sent plenty of care packages to my sons in the past. The guys love food, so go heavy on that. They also can use beach towels, flip flops, and sunscreen.

Print the box decorations and tags. You can print the tags on sticker paper or tie them on with spring ribbon. I do a combination of both. I had to replenish my supply of spring ribbon this year.
Best Spring Finals Care Package: Assemble Your Box
- Print the box decorations from the Best Easter Care Package Printables Set.
- Tape or glue your box printables. I scotch tape mine to the box. I know some people hot glue them, but they don’t have to stay on the box forever, so tape works fine for me.
- I usually use Medium flat rate boxes, but for finals care packages, I often use a Large Flat Rate Box. You will need to use background paper to cover the box flaps and then cut the printables to the size you would like. This Summer Brights 12″x12″ Paper is a good option.
- Load up your box with all of your adorable Easter items.
