Fourth of July Care Package: Gather Your Supplies
A cute, fun, and patriotic Fourth of July Care Package is easy to make. All of the supplies to make a 4th of July gift can be found at Target or Walmart or on Amazon. 4th of July party supplies for celebrating the day, red, white, and blue snacks, and some sparkling items to light up the night will make their day special even if they can’t be home with you.
Here are the Fourth of July Care Package supplies you will need:
Supply List:
White Cardstock Paper – print the box decorations and item tags
Sticker Paper – I love to print some of the tags on sticker paper and put them on the items in the box.
Red, white, and blue ribbon – the ribbon I used is from my collection of ribbon, but I found this adorable patriotic ribbon on Amazon.
Red, white, and blue snacks – I found mine at Target. I included M and M’s, some festive pretzels shaped like stars, Twizzlers, Rice Krispie Treats, and Oreos. Anything that is red, white, or blue will blend in and look amazing.
Pop Rocks Pouches – You have to have pop rocks. I sprinkled the pop rocks pouches in the extra space in the box. I found these on Amazon.
Fourth of July Glow Sticks – Well, you can’t mail real sparklers, but these are celebratory too. They can light up the night with these while waiting for the fireworks to start.
Fourth of July beads and Fourth of July garland – They can decorate their apartment or dorm room with the garland and wear the beads to the cookout. I also found these fun Fourth of July Popcorn buckets. Throw in some microwave popcorn!

Start with a medium flat-rate USPS box. You can get these for free at the post office. You can use any size box you would like, but the cut lines on the printables fit this box. The Fourth of July Care Package Printables pack also includes a set of box decorations without cut lines so you can put them on any box.
Tape your box decorations to the box. I use scotch tape. Some people hot glue them, but the box decorations don’t need to stay there forever, so scotch tape it is for me!
Tie or stick on your item tags. I included a blank tag in this set of care package printables so you can add your own message.
Place your items in your box
