Halloween Care Package

Halloween is one of the best times of the year to send a care package. Our college and adult children can be nostalgic for Halloween candy, costumes, and trick or treating. Sending them a Halloween Care Package helps them get into the spirit and forget about their classes and responsibilities for a moment.

These Halloween care package printables are available in our store. The theme is Taylor Swift – so Welcome to the Spooky Era!!

Halloween Care Package: Gather Your Supplies

Gather these supplies to create your September Care Package

Supply List:

White Cardstock Paper

Printable Sticker Paper

Halloween Ribbon – I used orange Swiss dot ribbon. I wanted purple Halloween themed ribbon, but I did not think ahead, and tried to find some locally. Unfortunately I could not find any. Be sure to order your ribbon in time to make your care package.

USPS Medium Flat Rate Box – available free at the post office (the printables are designed to fit this size box, but you can cut them to any size you wish.)

Candy, candy, candy – Halloween is all about the candy, so stock up. Include a Twix Bar for the Twix or Treat Tag.

Something blood red – If they like to dress up, you could include a Halloween makeup kit. Vampire Blood hand sanitizer or this red soap dispenser are also good ideas. Anything red, really.

Shake it off with a Sonic gift card or another ice cream/shake spot. You could also do a Cocktail or Iced Coffee Shaker.

Something lavender or purple – Purple is the 3rd Halloween color, so you need something purple. Purple socks, Purple Halloween string lights, or a purple pumpkin. Lavender is common in bath products. I found some lavender shower steamers for a true lavender haze.

A healthy or salty snack for their midnight’s snack.

Clear medical gloves– To fill with candy -be sure to use a different color down where the nails should be!

This Halloween Shred and the Halloween Sticky Notes are cute!

Orange items are always good – Tide pods or orange soap.

I always include Mellowcreme pumpkins!

Another helpful item is a paper cutter to cut out the tags and the box decorations. The paper cutter is especially helpful if you are having other moms over to create spring finals care packages.

Halloween Care Package: Prepare your Items

Print the stickers and tags and attach to your items with Halloween ribbon.

I always print the tag sheets twice – once on card stock and once on sticker paper and then decide which items I want to put stickers on and which ones I want to tie the tag to.

Halloween Care Package: Assemble Your Box

  • Get your box decorations and tags in our store.
  • Follow the instructions included with the decorations and tags.
  • Tape or glue your box printables. I scotch tape mine to the box. I know some people hot glue them, but they don’t have to stay on the box forever, so tape works fine for me.
