Winter Finals Care Package

Winter Finals are almost upon us. Be sure to have your Winter Finals Care Package ready to go in the mail as soon as your college student returns to college from Thanksgiving Break. The Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving are the best nights to host a care package party.

These Winter Finals Care Package printable are available in our store or join our Care Package Printables Club. The theme is Frozen. This is the group of kids who watched the movie 1000 times and sang Let It Go until their voices were hoarse (and you were crazy)!

Winter Finals Care Package: Gather Your Supplies

Gather these supplies to create your September Care Package

Supply List:

White Cardstock Paper

Printable Sticker Paper

If you are using a box larger than a USPS medium flat rate box, silver or other Glitter Crafting Cardstock. Box decorations printed on 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper will not cover the flaps of a large flat rate box, so you will need to cover the flaps and bottom of the box with other paper. You can use wrapping paper. I used 2 12″x12″ sheets of silver Glitter Crafting Cardstock. I used a piece of snow looking cardstock that I had in my collection for the bottom. You could use a 3rd sheet of the silver paper.

silver

Snowflake Ribbon – I found this cute set of Snowflake Ribbon including iridescent silver, blue, and snowflakes.

USPS Medium or Large Flat Rate Box – available free at the post office (the printables are designed to fit this size box, but you can cut them to any size you wish.)

Smart Water – no finals care package should be without smart water!

Something warm – I found this adorable green Snowflake Mug (different from the blue one) and Confetti Hot Cocoa Bomb at Target. If you use a large box, you could fit a throw blanket.

A snack for the Do You Wanna Have a Snack tag

Something chocolate for the After Olaf You’ve Been Through tag

Instant soups, oatmeal, etc. – They are good for the Fixer Upper and Power tags.

Anything else you think would help them study and cheer them up. I chose some seasonal snacks as well as some peppermint snacks. Include some the Jelly Bellys!

Another helpful item is a paper cutter to cut out the tags and the box decorations. The paper cutter is especially helpful if you are having other moms over to create spring finals care packages.

Winter Finals Care Package: Prepare your Items

Print the stickers and tags and attach to your items with Snowflake Ribbon or as a sticker.

I always print the tag sheets twice – once on card stock and once on sticker paper and then decide which items I want to put stickers on and which ones I want to tie the tag to.

Winter Finals Care Package: Assemble Your Box

  • Get your box decorations and tags in our store.
  • Follow the instructions included with the decorations and tags.
  • Tape or glue your box printables. I scotch tape mine to the box. I know some people hot glue them, but they don’t have to stay on the box forever, so tape works fine for me.
